I’m ecstatic to begin a new series with you all called “What I Eat In A Day As A Food Blogger.” I’ll be doing sporadic videos in the next months to share my everyday life with you all, with an emphasis on the food I consume. What’s more, guess what? I’m vlogging everything!

I’m kicking off this series with Blue Diamond, one of my favorite collaborators. We’ve been collaborating on a variety of food and lifestyle pieces over the past few months (including these incredible No Bake Blueberry Almond Breakfast Bars and this post on Healthy Road Trip Snacks). We’d be delighted to hear your thoughts on our collaboration thus far. We’d both appreciate it if you could take two minutes to complete this survey (it’ll only take two minutes!). It will help us improve things in the future. Plus, if you complete the survey and tell me about it in the comments, you’ll be considered to win a $100 Visa gift card! (The survey will close at midnight on Sunday, September 10th.) Only inhabitants of the United States are eligible.

Friends, please accept my heartfelt gratitude! I adore you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to start playing the drums…. As a food blogger, here’s what I eat in a day!

Breakfast

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Breakfasts with a combination of protein and slow-release carbohydrates are my favorites. I’ve been enjoying a great homemade muesli prepared with oats, Blue Diamond whole natural almonds, and golden raisins recently.

Lunch

Every day, I usually have the same lunch. Ask my mother, I’ve been eating turkey sandwiches for lunch since I was a youngster! On pumpernickel, I’m now eating an in-house roasted rosemary garlic turkey sandwich with low fat canola mayo, dijon mustard, heirloom tomatoes, avocados, and cilantro. I like it with fruit and a glass of skim milk or almondmilk.

Snack in the Afternoon

I normally taste test baked items while I work since I’m usually shooting all day. After lunch, I ate a few bits of this banana cake, and about 3 p.m., I ate a rX bar, which kept me full until dinnertime.

Dinner

Alex brought home a thin crust pizza for supper. Because the slices were so large, I ate one and then snacked on extra cheese and vegetables!

Snack in the Evening

I had produced the most incredible Marcona-style almonds earlier in the day using Blue Diamond’s entire natural almonds. They ended up on a beautiful cheeseboard that I brought to an evening gathering with girlfriends (which has since been put on the blog!). I snacked on a few slices of pear and a raw cookie bite since I had previously eaten a lot of cheese for supper.

bromalifestyle2Overall, I’d say this day was very typical of what I eat, however pizza and then additional cheese was a little excessive for me. Normally, I’ll have a more veggie-centric meal. So, I guess I’ll simply have to do some more of them very soon!

Below is the whole footage of my day. Enjoy!

I am a food blogger, and I eat a lot. In this blog post, I will give you an overview of what I ate in a day as a food blogger. I will also include my vlog on the topic! Reference: food blogger salary.
