Fresh mint, Thin Mint biscuits, and vanilla ice cream combine to make a Thin Mint Milkshake. It’s ideal for St. Patrick’s Day!

So a Thin Mint cookie, vanilla ice cream, and handmade fudge are thrown into a blender…

And make the finest milkshake you’ve ever had. (Outkast channels: Forever ever?)

But let’s be honest. This is very excellent. In a glass, it’s like a Girl Scout cookie. Plus, it’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

If we’re going to go that way, we should definitely include some Schnapps… Schnapps, on the other hand, would be a fantastic addition to this shake.

And, if I had my way (which I don’t…), I’d name this a frappe. Because I’m from Boston, where milkshakes are known as frappes. Shake it is, however, to keep this message regionally suitable.

Did I mention how fantastic it is?

Ingredients

For the hot fudge with mint

  • a quarter teaspoon of mint essence
  • chocolate chips, 1/3 cup
  • 1 quart thick cream

For the jolt

  • 1 1/2 cups ice cream (vanilla)
  • 1 huge handful (about 1/2 cup) mint leaves
  • a third of a gallon of whole milk
  • 15 drops food coloring, green
  • 8 biscuits with a thin mint flavor

Because of the delicate mint rim

  • 2 cookies (Thin Mint)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (granulated)

Instructions

  1. Cook fudge in my heated cream till it scalds on medium heat (steaming but not yet boiling). Take the pan off the heat and add the chocolate chips and mint essence. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  2. In a blender, pulverize two thin mint biscuits until powdered. Pour onto a small dish after adding the sugar. Fill a clean dish halfway with water and dip the rim of your glass in. Shake off any excess liquid before dipping the rim in the powdered biscuit mix. Remove from the equation.
  3. In a blender, combine all of the shake’s components. Start with 3 tablespoons of whole milk and gradually add more, one tablespoon at a time, as required. It’s preferable to start with a thicker milkshake rather than a tiny one that can’t be saved!
  4. Pour in shake after drizzling fudge sauce over the edges of the glass. Finish with a tiny mint biscuit and a few sprigs of fresh mint!

The “thin mint shamrock shake recipe” is a delicious and refreshing dessert that can be enjoyed all year round. The thin mint flavor is complimented by the sweet, creamy vanilla ice cream. It’s easy to make too!.
