Making this chocolate smoothie bowl was a lot of fun.
Smoothie bowls have quickly become my new favorite breakfast option. They’re not just the cutest thing since cronuts, but they’re also very yummy and, like froyo, you get to choose your toppings! Can you believe this dish came together in less than ten minutes? Simply combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Do you want to increase your fiber intake? Add some kale to the mix. Is it possible to get more protein? 1 tblsp. nut butter
You may use berries, bananas, almonds, coconut flakes, chia seeds, hemp seeds, granola, etc. as toppings. There’s no limit to what you can achieve.
This smoothie dish is unique in that it contains chocolate… for breakfast. Friends, that’s correct. Chocolate! ALOHA, a firm that bridges the gap between hectic lives and good food, approached me recently. Their mission is to provide food items that help you include more nutrients into your regular diet.
As for me, as a baking blogger, I’m always attempting to obtain the nutrients I need while surrounded by a mountain of baked products. And, as much as I like sweets, I believe that a well-balanced diet is essential. So, with my natural sweet tooth (and chocolate addiction), I leaped at the chance to make a healthy ALOHA dish.
Meet the Superfood Chocolate Smoothie Bowl, my friends. From potassium to Vitamin K, it’s chock-full of vitamins and minerals. I also included a packet of ALOHA’s Daily Good Greens mix, which includes over 500 percent of your daily Vitamin D, has just 50 calories per pouch, and is high in spirulina, which supports liver and kidney function.
Plus, you won’t be able to tell the difference until it’s mixed into the smoothie. All you get is a mouthful of decadent chocolate. Your taste senses will be overjoyed, and your hips will be grateful.
I chose to top the smoothie with ALOHA’s Superfood Chocolate, which isn’t your average chocolate bar. It’s created with the Daily Good Greens Chocolate Blend, which provides all of the vitamins and minerals you need. I mean, if you offer me the choice of sprinkling chocolate over my breakfast, I’ll say yes 100 percent of the time, but nutrition-packed chocolate? Yes, without a doubt.
With some roasted peanuts on top, this smoothie would be even better. Whatever makes you happy and keeps you full and fulfilled.
This chocolate smoothie bowl has the following ingredients:
This smoothie bowl dish is jam-packed with nutrients. The following are the major components in this chocolate smoothie bowl:
Use less almond milk than the recipe asks for if you like thicker smoothies / smoothie bowls. Add extra for thicker smoothies. You are free to use whichever non-dairy milk you like!
Raw honey – This smoothie bowl is sweetened with only a few tablespoons of raw honey. If you’re a vegan, you may use agave or pure maple syrup.
Avocado – Don’t worry, this chocolate smoothie bowl doesn’t have any avocado flavor. It is, nevertheless, a crucial component since it is what gives this smoothie its thick and creamy texture. Plus, the avocado’s healthful fats will keep you full until noon.
Use a ripe or even spotted banana for a really sweet smoothie bowl. Use a banana that is still somewhat green for a less sweet result. If you want a creamier smoothie, freeze the banana the night before!
In my smoothie bowl, I used blackberries, but you may use any fruit you have on hand. The berries add a little of flavor and texture to the dish, and it’s a simple way to change up your morning routine.
Cocoa powder – Without a good amount of cocoa powder, what would this chocolate smoothie bowl be?
1 package Daily Good Greens Chocolate — You already know why this stuff is so tasty.
