Banana Bread with Chocolate Peanut Butter

We knew we wanted to make banana bread while we began considering ideas for this month. A chocolate peanut butter banana bread, to be precise, or a rich, moist banana bread baked with peanut butter and cocoa powder. Then we discovered we’d already completed the task! So we prepared it again to “reshoot”… but to be quite honest, we simply wanted to eat it again.

It tastes like a cake, but the peanut butter and ripe bananas provide the majority of the moisture… So you’re into healthy eating? YES.

HELLO BABY, for example.

Make the greatest chocolate peanut butter banana bread with these tips.

  1. Before adding the peanut butter to the batter, melt it first—peanut butter is famously difficult to mix. What is the solution? It must be melted! Simply microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds, or until it’s quite liquidy and simple to mix.
  2. Use overripe (even brown) bananas—Using overripe (even brown) bananas is the key to baking a delicious, fragrant banana bread.
  3. Natural peanut butter should be avoided—You could probably get away with putting it in the banana bread itself, but it’s hard to sprinkle it on top of it. For the drizzle, I used Skippy peanut butter, which melted nicely.
  4. Decorate with sliced bananas—This, admittedly, has nothing to do with how the banana bread bakes, but it does help with appearance. Top the banana bread with sliced banana rings or cut the banana lengthwise into long strips and arrange them on top of the bread. In either case, it’ll be stunning to look at and delicious to eat!

To make the bread

  • 1/3 cup gently melted peanut butter
  • 1 pound of sugar
  • 1 cup bananas, mashed
  • a half cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour (all-purpose)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • a half teaspoon of salt
  • slices of banana (optional)

Drizzle with peanut butter

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter (creamy) (Natural isn’t an option; it won’t function.) Skippy was used, and it melted well!)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using parchment paper, line a big loaf pan. Remove from the equation.
  2. Combine the slightly melted peanut butter, sugar, mashed bananas, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. After mixing, add the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Last but not least, add the flour.
  3. Pour into a loaf pan and top with banana slices that have been finely cut. For this, I used half a banana. Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 55 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean. Allow to cool for 20 minutes on a wire rack.
  4. Spread peanut butter on top of the loaf when it has cooled somewhat. Melt for 30 seconds in a microwave-safe basin, then whisk. It should become somewhat runny and creamy. Heat for an additional 15 seconds, depending on your microwave. Drizzle the glaze over the bread. Serve!
