Paloma Fizz

Paloma Fizz is a twisted take on the classic Bellini with berry juice, and sparkling wine. When you combine sweet fruit flavors like raspberry, blueberry, strawberry or blackcurrant with tart citrus notes of grapefruit peel or lemon zest it creates an intense flavor sensation that’s unlike anything else in your glass!

Paloma is a refreshing summer cocktail made with tequila, grapefruit juice, and lime. It’s the perfect drink to enjoy on a hot day.

Wow. What a year it’s been. I can’t believe this is my last blog entry of the year.

Because New Year’s Eve is right around the horizon, I wanted to make it festive with my Paloma Fizz. However, this is also a general celebration of what has been a fantastic year.

In terms of my company, 2017 was a watershed moment. I conducted my first ever food photography workshop, which was so well received that I decided to offer another two months later. I offered my first online food photography course a little over a month later, a weekly live class on all areas of food photography that drew 165 students! We liked it so much that we’re having another one in January (get on the waitlist here).

This year, what has Broma accomplished?

Of course, I continued to concentrate on providing you all excellent dishes throughout this period. You guys continued to adore new spins on traditional tastes, from The Best Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies in the World to Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake. Red Wine Brownies, Lemon Poppyseed Cake, Cake Batter Macarons, Broke Girl Truffles, and Strawberry Almond Tea Cake were your top five recipes of the year.

It was a fantastic year for lifestyle content as well. Over 60,000 people have pinned The Yoga Routine That Made Me Like Yoga, and over 10,000 people have seen How I Stay In Shape As A Professional Baking Blogger. To offer you this piece, I journeyed to Israel via the blog, remodeled our dining room, and ate roughly 30 sweets in one weekend.

I can honestly say that this has been my finest year yet, and I am eternally thankful to each and every one of you. For continuing to be interested in me, for supporting me, and for baking with me at every turn. Thank you for being exactly who you are.

Let’s speak about how we’re going to celebrate with this Paloma Fizz, shall we? When Patrón asked me to produce a Christmas drink for you, I knew exactly what I wanted to do: a Paloma Fizz. Grapefruit soda, lime juice, and Patrón’s Silver Tequila are used to make this simple yet tasty beverage.

It’s ideal for those like myself who like New Year’s Eve but don’t care for champagne. However, New Year’s Eve necessitates a sparkling beverage. As a result, grapefruit soda works perfectly.

This Patrón Silver Tequila is one of my favorites since it’s wonderfully clear and refreshing, created from Mexico’s best distilled agave, and works so beautifully with the acidic grapefruit and lime. It’s like summer in a glass, except this time it’s in the dead of winter. I’m a huge fan. I’m a huge fan.

Is it possible to discuss about this bottle? This is the third in Patrón’s Christmas collection of collectable bottle designs, which is inspired by Mexico’s bright ceramic and textile folk art legacy. This bottle is a work of art in and of itself, from giving to mixing and matching with your own décor.

All right, fellas. I’ve got some soup simmering on the stove, a lover to my right asking for my assistance with a puzzle, and a few more days of 2017 to enjoy. I’m taking a week off to give myself a break from the blogosphere.

*sigh* What a wacky world we live in; who’d have guessed that starting a baking blog on the spur of the moment would develop into the best job I’ve ever had? Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this site possible.
