Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every day began with a cookie? Yes. It certainly would. It would be fantastic.

And I’m come to inform you that, thanks to recent technological advancements, cookies for breakfast are now a reality.

I’m joking, of course. In terms of technology. But not in relation to the cookies. I’d never make a joke about cookies. 


But, in all seriousness, these cookies are incredible. They’re chewy and flavorful with wild orange. They’re produced with nutritious, healthy ingredients, don’t need the use of an oven, and are ideal for someone on the move.

They’re high in healthy fats thanks to the almond butter, and they have a subtle crunch from the chopped almonds.


They keep indefinitely in the fridge. It’s been like two weeks. That’s more than regular cookies.

It’s been delicious to have one for morning with a cup of coffee and a banana.

These No-Bake Cranberry Orange Breakfast Bars are the greatest way to start your day since they’re raw, gluten-free, and vegan.


  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter + 1/4 cup
  • maple syrup (two teaspoons)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons melted coconut oil
  • a third of a cup of oat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats, old fashioned
  • 1/2 cup protein powder, unflavored (I used collagen peptides)
  • 1 orange’s zest
  • 1 teaspoon distilled water
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped unsalted almonds
  • 1/4 cup cranberries, dried
  • 1/4 cup melted white chocolate


  1. Pulse the dates in a food processor until smooth. Combine the almond butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil in a mixing bowl. Pulse once more until everything is well blended.
  2. In a large mixing basin, combine all of the ingredients. Combine the oat flour, oats, protein powder, orange zest, and water in a mixing bowl. Mix until everything is well blended. Combine the almonds and dried cranberries in a mixing bowl.
  3. Make 1 1/2 inch balls out of the mixture. Between two pieces of parchment paper, push down. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Remove from the fridge once firm and sprinkle with melted white chocolate, if desired. In the fridge, bars may last up to two weeks.

These “no bake molasses cookies” are a delicious and easy to make recipe that is perfect for the holiday season. They are made with just five ingredients and take about 15 minutes to prepare.
