Frosé (Frozen Rosé)

Rosé wine has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity among young, millennial consumers. This makes it an ideal beverage to pair with food and desserts that are not traditionally served chilled. Since the rosé’s alcohol content is lower than many other wines, ice cold beverages such as Frosé take on new meaning for this niche market of drinkers who love their drink chilled without breaking out into a sweat

The “frozen rosé near me” is a drink that has been popularized by celebrities and social media. The drink is made with red wine and fruit juice, then frozen to create a slushy consistency.

Raise your hand if you’ve been ripped off this season by a pricey frosé (also known as frozen rosé)! Has it been watery, flavorless, melty, and about $15? I’m sure I have, and to be honest, I’m sick of it. But don’t be concerned. This simple frosé dish is ready to take your breath away. It’s created with just two ingredients, takes less than five minutes to prepare, and is excellent for the remainder of these hot summer evenings.

What exactly is frosé?

This is without a doubt my new favorite beverage. I know, Frosé is just a rosé slushie. It’s incredible. I’ve attempted to create frozen rosé at home previously by combining rosé with ice, but the results were disappointing. It merely tasted like a watered-down glass of rosé in the end. It was a real letdown. But then I learnt a technique from one of my friend’s mothers (thanks, Amy!) about substituting strawberries for ice.

It’s a game changer.

To create frosé at home, follow these steps:

A blender, a bottle of rosé, and frozen strawbs are required. That is all there is to it. This frosé recipe makes roughly 6 servings, but if you’re drinking with more than a few pals, you’ll almost certainly need to quadruple it. Simply combine your strawberries with your favorite rosé (you may use a cheap one since the strawberries will make it taste excellent nonetheless) in a high-powered blender.

Because this is a frozen drink, it’s best served straight away, so make it in batches if you don’t want it to melt!

Why create strawberry-infused frozen rosé?

When a drink recipe calls for ice to be mixed straight in, replace it with fruit, like we did in our frosé recipe. Frozen fruit will provide the same volume and frosty feel as ice cream, but with the added benefit of taste. This way, instead of water, when your drink melts in the summer heat, you’ll be left with delectable strawberry juice. Plus, it’s high in vitamins, so this frozen rosé must be good for you…right? You might also substitute another fruit if you don’t like strawberries. Mangos, peaches, and raspberries are also said to be delicious!

I’ll end with a caution to drink responsibly since this frosé is a bit too easy to drink. Have a fantastic weekend, and make the most of the last Summer evenings with friends.
