My mother would always serve rolls with supper when I was a kid. I all, isn’t it true that no dinner is complete without a warm roll to soak up all those delicious flavors? The flaky, buttery, somewhat sweet rolls that you can easily dump on a baking pan directly from the can were always our favorites. But now that we’re grownups, it’s time to increase the ante on the roll game with a dash of everything spice. Even while these handmade Parker House rolls take a bit longer to prepare, they are well worth the extra effort.

What exactly is bagel seasoning?

I’m sure you’re salivating just looking at these handmade dinner rolls if you’ve ever eaten an everything bagel. The greatest thing since sliced bread is everything bagel seasoning. Every day, I eat it on avocado toast, eggs, sandwiches, and so on. It’s available at Trader Joe’s and fine food retailers such as Williams Sonoma and Sur La Table. You can also create it at home! You’ll need the following seeds and spices if you decide to manufacture your own:

  • Seeds of the poppy
  • Seeds of Sesame
  • Sesame Seeds, Black
  • Dried Garlic, Minced
  • Dried Onion, Minced
  • Sea Salt, Flaked

In these handmade dinner rolls, a little goes a long way. On each roll, a shake of seasoning will provide the proper amount of seedy spice.
