Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought pizza dough (we used 8 ounces of freshly baked dough, but the typical serving size for a mix or a frozen one would suffice!)
  • flour made from semolina
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tblsp. soured cream
  • 2 tblsp. of mayonnaise
  • cream cheese, 2 oz.
  • 1 pound spinach
  • 7 ounces drained canned artichokes
  • mozzarella cheese, 4 oz.
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and prepare the pizza dough according to the package guidelines. Grease a pizza stone, pan, or cookie sheet with olive oil (or as directed by the manufacturer) and put aside. To avoid the dough from sticking, roll it out with semolina flour. Place the dough in a baking pan and put it aside.
  2. Combine the onion, garlic, and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Sauté for 3 minutes, or until the onion is transparent. Stir in the sour cream, mayonnaise, and cream cheese until everything is completely combined and melted. Combine the spinach, artichokes, and 2 ounces of mozzarella in a mixing bowl. In a large mixing bowl, blend all of the ingredients until they are thoroughly incorporated.
  3. Over the prepared pizza crust, spread the spinach artichoke dip. If preferred, top with more spinach and artichokes. Mozzarella and parmesan cheeses are sprinkled on top. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is beginning to brown. Enjoy!
