Can we all agree that one of the finest pairings of all time is cookies and milk? They conjure up childhood memories for me, transporting me back to afternoons with my mother. We’d make chocolate chip cookies and consume whole spoonfuls of batter before baking pans of cookies. And 15 minutes later, I’d still have room in my little stomach for warm cookies and milk.

Because certain cookies demand to be accompanied by a glass of cool milk.

One of such treats is these Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies. They’re chewy, soft, and studded with peanut butter morsels to perfection. I like the sweet and slightly salty flavor combination. Amiright? Of course, with the holidays being such a hectic time of year, it’s critical for me to produce recipes for you that are simple, stress-free, and don’t take hours to make.

For that reason, I’m thrilled to be working with ALDI on this chocolate peanut butter cookie recipe. Their shops make shopping a breeze (every component in this article came from ALDI!) I’m also amazed at how inexpensive everything is. Furthermore, they provide a broad range of diet-friendly options for many of their items. Their liveGfree line is great for gluten-free people, while Friendly Farms Coconut and Almondmilks are great for dairy-free people.

That means your milk and cookie shopping excursion isn’t simply a one-stop shop, but also a trip where you may stock up on items to meet a variety of dietary requirements.

To create chocolate peanut butter chip cookies, follow these instructions.

These chocolate peanut butter cookies are simple to make and take less than 30 minutes to prepare. Here’s how you do it:

Cream the butter and sugar — In the bowl of a standing mixer, cream the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and the sugar is entirely integrated (this will take a few minutes). Then stir in the vanilla and egg until everything is well mixed.

Add the dry ingredients – Sift together the dry ingredients in a separate dish, then stir into the liquid ingredients until just combined. Hand-fold the peanut butter morsels into the cookie dough, being careful not to overwork it.

Scoop the chocolate peanut butter chip cookie dough into balls and lay them on a baking tray to bake. Bake for about 10 minutes, then cool for another 10 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.

Make chocolate peanut butter chip cookies with these helpful hints.

Use room temperature ingredients – When adding the butter and egg to the cookie batter, make sure they’re both at room temperature. This will make the wet components simpler to combine and provide an uniform bake in the oven.

You don’t want any lumps of cocoa powder or flour in these cookies, so sift the dry ingredients. It’s always a good idea to sift the dry ingredients, and it just takes a minute.

Allow space between dough balls – Allow 2 inches between each cookie dough ball. These chocolate peanut butter chip cookies will spread out in the oven, and you don’t want them to turn into a giant cookie.

What’s the best way to keep chocolate peanut butter chip cookies fresh?

In a sealed container, these chocolate peanut butter cookies will last 3 to 4 days on your counter. Don’t worry if your cookies get stale. You won’t be able to know they’ve gone hard until you dip them in a cool glass of milk. Oh, and these cookies can be frozen in a freezer baggie and reheated in the microwave or oven for weeks!

  • Baker’s Corner Cocoa Powder, 1/3 cup

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Set aside two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
