Ingredients

in order to make brownies

for the coating of peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • 4 tblsp butter (unsalted)
  • 1 cup sugar (powdered)
  • a sprinkle of salt
  • 1 teaspoon extract de vanille

for the ganache de chocolat

  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semisweet)
  •  a third of a cup of heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies according to package instructions, ensuring that the pan is completely lined with parchment paper on both sides. Allow to cool fully before using.
  2. Make the buckeye topping while the brownies are cooling. Melt the butter and peanut butter together in a sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in the powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until no powdered sugar clumps remain. Use a spatula to spread the peanut butter mixture evenly on the prepared brownies. Remove from the equation.
  3. Microwave the chocolate chips and heavy cream in 30 second intervals in a microwave-safe dish, stirring carefully after each, until thoroughly melted.
