Bourbon Pecan Pie

This recipe for the ultimate pie is a twist on two classic pies, bourbon and pecan. The filling combines dark brown sugar with cinnamon to give it that subtle spice flavor you want in a dessert. Pecan nuts add texture while whiskey gives this pie an extra kick of richness.

Paula Deen’s Bourbon Pecan Pie is a delicious dessert that can be made with just four ingredients. The pie has a rich, nutty flavor from the bourbon and pecans.

Pecan Pie with Bourbon

A good ol’ fashioned handmade pecan pie is the epitome of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving would be incomplete for me without pecan pie. Leave the turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes at home. DESSERT is all I desire. Pecan pie, on the other hand, is the perfect Thanksgiving dessert to present to your loved ones. Pecan pie is the sort of dish that’s the first to go in the dessert spread since it’s gooey, crunchy, salty-sweet, and has a hearty splash of bourbon.

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for pecan pie. My grandpa lived in Georgia when I was a youngster, and whenever we went to see him, we’d have Georgian pecan pie. It’s one of the most vivid childhood memories I have. Sarah’s taste buds were blown away by the deliciousness of the pecan pie. It reminds me of my grandpa every time I eat it. People often speak about how memories are linked to odors, but tastes are also important. For many individuals, a traditional pecan pie is one of the most sentimental dishes. And nothing surpasses pecan pie cooked with Karo® Corn Syrup, which is velvety smooth.

What makes this pecan pie stand out from the rest?

You know we need Karo® Light Corn Syrup when we make pecan pie. It’s the finest of the best and the only technique to prepare a pecan pie that’s guaranteed to turn out perfectly. Corn syrup is one of my favorite baking ingredients since it’s properly sweet and doesn’t dominate other delicious tastes. It also adds sweetness and moisture, so it doesn’t dry out or crystalize during baking.

This implies that the velvety, smooth gooey texture of bourbon pecan pie will be achieved without any brittle sugar crystallization. Candies, ice creams, fudge, and no-bake bars all benefit from Karo® Corn Syrup. The possibilities are infinite! Visit the Karo® website for additional Christmas culinary ideas! With Karo® Corn Syrup, the possibilities are unlimited, from no-bake treats to spectacular pies and chewy bars!

You’ll need a few basic items in addition to Karo® Light Corn Syrup. I’m not a big fan of pies in general, but pecan pie is an exception. It’s really simple to make, requiring less than ten ingredients, and is a huge hit with the audience.

  • For this bourbon pecan pie, you may use either a handmade or store-bought pie crust. Both are great, but a handcrafted one, if you have the time, will take this delectable pie to the next level!
  • Toasted pecans: We prefer to use toasted pecans since they have a stronger nutty taste. You are free to use anything you want!
  • Salt: One of the most underappreciated ingredients in baked goods is salt. It really makes or breaks the taste, elevating this bourbon pecan pie from a sweet treat to a gourmet treat!
  • Eggs: In this simple pecan pie, eggs will add the proper amount of structure!
  • Brown Sugar: The Karo® Light Corn Syrup will sweeten and glue the pie together, but a little of brown sugar will provide a caramelly, warm sweetness.
  • If whiskey isn’t your thing, leave it out, but a little boozy bite elevates this pie to bakery-level deliciousness.
  • Due to the liquid addition of whiskey, a Tablespoon of flour is required to retain the pie’s structure.
  • Butter: To keep everything moist, buttery, and smooth, every delicious pie includes a bit extra butter in the filling!
  • If you’re using vanilla extract, make sure it’s pure vanilla extract.
