Apple cinnamon coffee cake

This cake is a wonderful mix of sweetness, spiciness and warmth. It’s perfect for the fall season!

The “apple cinnamon coffee cake no sour cream” is a recipe for an apple cinnamon coffee cake that doesn’t require the use of sour cream.

My mother has been making this coffee cake for years, and each time you bite into it, it’s like a fresh taste sensation. It’s rich and chewy at the same time, with a hint of fall in the cinnamon. It’s a straightforward dish that begs to be repeated throughout the winter months!

To make the batter, combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl

flour (three cups) 1 1/2 pound of sugar 2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda 1 teaspoon kosher salt two eggs 2 cups yogurt (plain) 1 pound of butter 2 peeled, cored, and thinly sliced green apples (1/4 centimeter thick)

For the swirlies, follow these instructions: 

3/4 cup sugar (brown) 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown sugar and cinnamon should be combined with a fork in a small bowl. Remove from the equation.

Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl until it is soft. First, whisk together the sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla, baking powder and soda, yogurt, and salt. After the butter and sugar have been combined, add the flour in stages, stirring after each addition.

A big bundt pan should be butter and floured. Pour half of the batter into the pan and top with half of the swirlies mixture. Push in swirlies with a fork to incorporate them into the batter. Half of the apple slices should be placed on top of the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter, distributing nearly all of the swirlies (leave 2 tablespoons) over the top and then the remaining apple slices. Over the apple slices, scatter the remaining swirlies. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean. You may eat it directly out of the oven, or let it cool and keep it in the fridge for days!
